Parker English Horn is a true legato English horn Kontakt library performed by Dr. Andrew Parker, Associate Professor of Oboe at the University of Texas.
After the success of our Parker Oboe collaboration, we had to bring back Andrew to capture the beautiful, dark, mysterious tones of the cor anglais.
The Workhorse patch is great for more exciting contexts; performed with a confident mezzo-forte dynamic while Emotional offers a lyrical/delicate performance at mezzo-piano.
We’ve also captured a variety of inhale breaths with subsequent “pre-attack” air/tonguing noises — really helps sell the performance when peppered in before/in-between phrases.

MANUAL
With the Workhorse and Emotional patches, velocities 1-50 will play a softer attack while 51-127 triggers a more excited attack (round robins with Workhorse).
The Breaths patch is a collection of inhales extracted from throughout the session. Integrating breaths before or between phrases can enhance your mockup, infusing it with a sense of presence and authenticity.
